Why Oh Why???

I sitting here watching the Spanish tv channel (I don’t know any Spanish other than what I have learned from Dora) andto top it off the sound is turned down and the room is getting dark as evening sets in. I know something newsworthy is going on with the pope, a bear in the back of a pickup truck, and Kerry's campaign. But why am I sitting in the growing dusk with the TV silently set on a Spanish station? Well for one, I am enjoying watching Jed play, especially amused as he tries to put his frog sunglasses. And second, he has thrown the remote over the gate (after he turned the sound off and the channel to Spanish) and I’m feeling just too lazy right now to go get it…
